Anaesthesia
may cost more in our clinic, but for the maximum safety of your pet
- We perform a thorough clinical examination prior the anaesthesia
- We do laboratory and ECG exams in all cases if an animal is considered „old” patient ( generaly over 8 years of age). Of course, to improve safety you can order lab and ECG examinations for your younger pet as well.
- All anaesthetised animals receive an intravenous catheter prior to anaesthesia, and receive infusion and pain killer drugs already before the operation.
- We permanently monitor the heart rate and the oxygen saturation during the anaesthesia, so we can recognize any possible problems.
- Our modern anaesthetic machines allow controlled ventillation if necessary, with 100% oxygen.
- The pain free post operative comfort of your pet has a primary importance for us, so we begin pain killer therapy before the operation, and provide you the pain killer drugs for the post operative days.
According to these, the costs of the anaesthesia are between 15.000.- and 30.000.- HUF, depending on the bodyweight of your pet, the duration of the operation, and the pre anaesthetic examinations ordered.
